Final Countdown

Here we are, just 7 days to go until we head off to the Aloha state. If you’re anything like me, the words “it’s the final countdown” make you picture a burrito spinning in a microwave. Someone else in the world MIGHT get the reference, but probably not.

We spent the day with my grandparents yesterday. Although we will miss them greatly, it was a great reminder of why we are moving. Their support means so much to us, and we are blessed to still have them in our lives.

Today we have to finish packing, arrange pickups for our last few worldly possessions, and get our hair did.

Administrative tasks are the name of the game for the upcoming week. We even have to sign our wills (which were possibly the strangest and most useful going away presents we’ve ever received).

Here’s to living through the final push. Never have I been more ready to sit on a plane for 10 hours!
