Happy (belated) Thanksgiving

In this time of joy, thankfulness , and gratitude, I am late!! But the sentiment is real, and I want to thank the handful of people who faithfully follow my blog (Hi, Mom and Dad!)

Thanksgiving is usually so filled with crazines, our first one in Hawaii was grand. Instead of running between 5 or 6 different events in a 2 week period, and eating waayyyy too much of things we shouldn’t, we had a quiet day at home together.

I cooked my first full gluten free, and half pescatarian, thanksgiving meal.

with pie!!!

That’s not to say we didn’t miss out families, but it was nice to have some down time after the last few months of chaos.

Without further ado, here are some of the things I’m thankful for, in no particular order (this list is certainly not all inclusive)

We get to call Maui home.

We were brave enough to take this enormous leap.

My beautiful family.

Our kids love of life

These people (and many more who I don’t have a current pic of at the moment…)

New friends (and more who I oddly also don’t have a pic of)

Old friends (unpictured, you know who you are)

My first whale sighting!

It did this, but much further away. And, in case you didn’t know, I certainly didn’t take this pic!

That my hubby has a job that fulfills and inspires him.

It is not always easy to feel gratitude, but there is always some good to be found.

I hope you’re all finding some good in your lives today.

What did you do for turkey (or not) day? What are you thankful for?
