The first week of this year was a whirlwind. I’m pretty sure I had no less than a year’s worth of personal development in 48 hours.
I’ve had very small, incremental growth over the course of say… 35 years. At times I even felt completely stagnant and was suppressing and running from anything that ever made me uncomfortable. Pushing through that fear and anxiety is certainly not easy, but I choose to believe the rewards will make it all worth while.
After a super emotional week (and a week of the kids feeling really crummy), we decided to go to the park for some relaxing family time.
We ended up doing an impromptu family workout that really go our blood flowing.
I am no fan of the gym, it always makes me feel sullen and anxious. Turns out, you don’t need a gym when you have a bunch of goody kids to motivate you. I felt the burn and I left feeling inspired and joyful, it is hard to argue with those kind of results.
We made a little video featuring some of our moves.
I’ve been making a conscious effort to move more in general. Last week, I walked almost 40 miles!!
How do you exercise?
